Off Grid Land in Williamstown, NY
About This Property
Our property is located on a seasonal road and is not maintained or plowed November through April, essentially making it a seasonal location. This location was purchased as a future retirement property, but until then we would love to share the secluded and quiet atmosphere. This area is known throughout the world for its salmon and steelhead fishing! This is the perfect spot to plan out your fishing trip this year. Bring your RV and a grill! Surrounded by state forests in Oswego County the property is the perfect spot for hunters, anglers, hikers, ATVers, sightseers, and if your brave...snowmobiling trails in the winter. Almost every night you can hear coyotes, turkeys, and owls. It is also not uncommon to spot deer, rabbits, snakes, and turtles wandering through. With 100% southern exposure, you can charge your batteries and devices with solar panels if you are equipped. Cell service is spotty, so an amplifier is recommended if you rely on internet or need to reach someone. The property features a large grassy area along the road that is yours to setup anyway you see fit. Feel free to bring along a portable fire pit and firewood for smores and hotdogs. The locals are very friendly and don't be surprised if they pull over to say hello. Occasionally you will hear and Amish buggy coming down the road and wave as they pass by. Speaking of the Amish, there are many farms nearby that have produce stands where you can purchase local fruits and vegetables as well as cookies an treats. The overall location could not be much better. Nearby is a convenience store with a gas station as well as a town restaurant/bar with a nice atmosphere.
