About This Property
Located in sparsely populated Fisherman's Village West in Boca Chica, 10 miles South of Palacios. Nice flat RV lot, 1/4 acre. TWO 50-30-20 amp power panels, water, septic line hookups. Located a few blocks away from Carancahua Bay, renown for its fishing - flounder, speckled trout, black drum, redfish are big here. Palacios is the shrimp capital of Texas. Our lot is located inside one of the Texas Parks/Wildlife's designated bird watching areas. No crowded RV park here! You have a few part-time neighbors a few hundred feet away. I'm a hands-off landlord. I dont pester you. Just take your garbage out with you is all we ask. You also get member percs- private boat launch, private lit fishing pier, swimming pool.
Please take your garbage out. This is the Texas coast. You leave garbage, we get rats. We get rats, you get snakes. So please be respectful of your surroundings, as we do see a snake now and then. The only one I saw was about a 3 ft speckled King snake. I have neighbors who keep watch over the lot. They are always happy to assist you in your needs, and questions. Easy pull in. Easy hook up. With two power poles carrying 50-30-20 amp hookups. Potable water supply, and septic await. I currently booking days and weeks. I will book winter months for any snowbird who want to consider a longer stay at an agreeable price. The neighborhood is MELLOW. Here, you get lovely sunsets, and star-filled skies at night. And you aren't packed in with people all around you. DID YOU KNOW; You have more species of birds in this area than anywhere else in the USA. That includes the famed whooping cranes. In Palacios, 16,000 troops were stationed there in WW2, and famous entertainers came and played to them in that outdoor amphitheater that's still there. Big Band Swing like Tommy Dorsey, as well as movie stars like Rita Hayworth came to cheer up our soldiers. Palacios is the Texas shrimp capital, and BIG fish come in the bay to eat the shrimp. Spared the rigors of the open sea, in a protected Bay. Google "Palacios fishing."
